In the fifth episode of From the Files, Casefile’s host talks with David Videcette, a retired Scotland Yard detective turned crime writer and freelance investigator who has spent the past three years investigating the disappearance of Suzy Lamplugh, covered in Episode 48 of Casefile. David believes much of the case’s accepted narrative is based on flawed information that spread via the media during the initial investigation. He remains sceptical of the circumstances surrounding the mysterious Mr Kipper and the alleged sightings of Suzy and has developed his own theory regarding the individual responsible for her murder.
